'C' day!

Today is C day! C stands for: Carwash, Chalk Party, California, Coast, Catch Phrase, Conversations, Cupcakes, Chinese-ish Food, Cold Stuff. Christ

I praise God that Melissa kept saying ‘Praise God’ because it just makes you think and encourage you to praise Him even more!

Melissa slept over at my house. Ate Penny picked us up and we stopped by In-N-Out to get food. We arrive at her house and sit for a while. Then, we washed cars and listened to conversations about God. We got chalk out and wrote on the concrete.

We then, made our way to Irvine. In two cars, it was Benzer, Penny, Helen, Alex, Andrew, Derek, Ian, Melody, Melissa, and ME. A surprising incident happened in Kuya Alex’s car. We stood inside Trader Joe’s and I met Ate Melody. Then, we dropped Kuya Ian at work and went to Sprinkles. It was my very first time and it was recommended by Ate Helen to get the Red Velvet. It tasted amazing!

We picked up Kuya Ian, and then he had to deliver something. While waiting for Kuya Ian to deliver, we parked our cars, and hid behind trees and cars, while Kuya Alex hid inside the trunk of his car until he found us all. Then, we went to Panda Express and play indivisible catch phrase. We went to Mochilato for mochi, gelato, and shaved ice.

Came back to Ate Penny’s house and played basketball for a while and I watched John take pictures of a gigantic spider lurking in Ate Penny’s yard.

I praise God for this day; He gave me patience, which i haven't been having in a long time. I love the CFBC adults!

Encouraged by Kristine’s Blog Entry, I’d like to give my thoughts out there.

There’s always going to be a time where you’re impatient. You’re going to be annoyed by someone, but that doesn’t mean you should plot evil in your head. That doesn’t mean you should vent the bad things the person does, because that makes you a bad person too. If someone gossips about you, and you vent to someone how rude they are, I would say you’re gossiping too. So now what, I’ve bet we’ve all been in a situation like this, where you become a hypocrite. We are all hypocrites. But that shouldn’t stop anyone from confronting someone and rebuking them because we all are not perfect. God is perfect. We strive through life trying to become like him; in this world, it is hard and it’s going to get harder.

Now, something that’s been bothering me. I just can’t help be jealous. I am so jealous about almost everything. But right now, it’s JKMK. I liked where we were, before I left for the Philippines, talking every night, spiritually and reading the bible. When I came back, I couldn’t help but see that Kristine and Melissa have come so close to each other. I mean, that’s good for you, but im just jealous. Jealous that you guys are close, both Christian, and maybe even stronger in faith than me. There’s nothing I can do about this. I hope this doesn’t change anything between you guys. I wanted to let this out, and maybe ill feel better and lose this feeling. “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones” (Proverbs 14:30)

Boys! Before, I would be saddened to not have an experience of having a boyfriend, or even been in a thing. I feel lonely and awkward always feeling 5^th wheel or the odd one in a room. “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) I’ve come to realize that this is not a need, it is a want. I don’t need boys in my life right now; they are just going to interfere with my spiritual life. I’m going to let go and let God. He has a plan for me! For everyone.
