Happy Birthday Daddy!

He is -- years old.

Today;
In Monday Bible Study, I realized that life is short.
You never know when God plans for you to leave earth.
& It's important that we are all ready.
Live everyday as if it's your last.
Don't wait to accept Christ as your Savior when you're done having fun.
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. -Romans 10:9

I had tech rehearsal for Dance Production today.
Made me feel discouraged,
Our class being the only beg/int. class in the theater,
with the adv & dance team.

Just got to Praise the Lord no matter what.
PTL, because I get an extra cute surprise at the end of the dance.

P.S. I love having conversations with people that I'm only acquainted with.
It feels nice when someone you haven't talk to or don't normally talk to
goes up to you and just starts talking.

JUST KEEP READING

So, in youth group we were reading bible verses from Ephesians.
I decided to re-read it at home.

I should really PTL for every single little thing. I mean, God chose us because He love us. He wants us to have eternal life with Him. He planned out every single thing that has happened, happens, and will happen.

And, looking back on my, oh, so, old 2008 notes from bible study. I wrote that the Holy Spirit enables to work in us to have faith and follow Christ. And, when we are regenerated, what we want is submissive to God.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:3-14

And, this past Friday bible study, I learned what a spirit filled christian does.
They fellowship, sing to the Lord, gives thanks to the Lord, and submits to one another out of reverence to Christ. And, what helps me do this is to pray and fill my mind with scripture.

I've got to keep track on how my lifestyle is. I need to keep growing in the Lord's word.

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Ephesians 5:15-21

IF SOMETHING IS IMPORTANT, YOU'LL MAKE TIME FOR IT.

A PINCH OF THIS

Here’s a little of what went down this weekend.

FRIDAY –
Kathleen & Melissa come over and we laid around and listen to MJ all day. PTL. Get to bible study and watch the movie Flywheel; got me all teary-eyed. God seriously gives us miracles every day. At Kuya Ian’s house we basically just stretched against the wall.

SATURDAY –
I made plans for people to come over and go swimming and I suddenly receive three texts, and an IM asking what I was doing today. I wanted to be able to hang out with everyone. So, Ceejay, Kristine, Kathleen, Melissa, and Lidia came over. I attempted to teach Kristine how to tread water, didn’t turn out that great. She would drown, I saved her. She would drown, she would drown me.
Got ready and walked to the bus stop. Got to the mall and see April, Jojo, and Lily. Then, I see Kaysee, Dale, and Amanda. We go watch Transformers 2 with Kristine, Melissa, Lidia, and Kathleen left to hang around the mall. John comes. Then, I wanted to food, so Ceejay and I go to the food court. I see Amanda and Janeczka, then Victoria and Gail. After going to the restroom and getting my food, I visit Kristine, Melissa, Lidia, and Kathleen. The movie was all right; thought it was overrated.
While walking to guppies, I saw so many cockroaches. We had to wait to get a table, so Melissa, Kristine, and I left to go home.

WHAT'S UP?!
I haven't really been reading my bible or devotions. I read my devotion book today, but didn't really think about applying it to my life. I still long to get that spiritual high. I want to be hungry for God. Something I read today that I need to remind myself of:
"Jesus was saying that if we desire God the way we long for our next hot meal, we will be really blessed, That's because we will have more and more God in our lives - we'll be filled up with his love, his goodness, his mercy . . . all sorts of amazing things. And that would be an enormous blessing not just for us but for everyone around us."
True: A Teen Devotional - Melody Carlson

And most importantly, I need to remind myself of the Gospel. Especially what Christ did for us, He is the only way to salvation. And, "I'll never know how much it cost to see my sins upon that cross"
