Made to be Pure

I awake at 7AM to get ready for Youth Rally and arrive there and see that we were the only group up and spirited. We yell at the cars as they pass by and chanting cheers.

We enter the room, sing, dance, and shout. We pray and hear the national anthem. On goes the rally and we are the only youth group that’s spirited. I watch our ministry perform our skit first. Then we hear a testimony from Doug B about purity. He asked us to finish the verse John 14:15 and I knew it but I guess I was just shy to raise my hand up high.

Lunch, and I see Ceejay and Lidia. We eat some Flame Broiler and cheer with chanting ‘we love Jesus yes we do, we love Jesus yes we do, we love Jesus how ‘bout you!’ Then, Another testimony from a married couple that ‘waited’.

Half time, and we watch commercials on the overhead screen. The first commercial was a parody of ‘crank that soulja boy’ turned into ‘disciple boy’. We hear other stories from Doug and we have a break time. Joel buys twenty dollars worth of snacks and generously gives them away. Kathleen has arrived and eats her lunch.

Later, we go to church for mass and when its over they announce the spirit award to St. Lorenzo. YAY, we won! Off to Banana Bay to celebrate Aprils Birthday. Anthony comes and we head over there and see Margiel, Casey?, Tiffany, Julliene, and John.

We order, sing, play telephone, and eat. On the other side of the table, people are playing spoons. The whole group is here so we run out and take pictures. Then a man comes to our table and sings happy birthday then all of a sudden starts singing to Musiq Soulchild - Just Friends.
