Seeking the Good

Today, I went to new ‘Pinkberry’ in Colima and Nogales. I first entered bearing in mind that it was surrounded by green abstract furniture. I looked at the menu thinking of what to order. I went to the cashier and told them I wanted a medium original with the toppings: blueberry, kiwi, and strawberry. I also paid for my parents, who ordered a medium green tea with toppings: blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry.

I went to my cousin’s residence nearby Los Angeles, but the city name is North Hills. A better known city next to it was North Ridge. It was very boring. The whole small party thing was for Saint Joseph. We sat in the living room doing the rosary in front of the Santo Niño. But I didn’t say anything, gladly.

Many thoughts raced through my head as I had feelings of confidence. I was day dreaming of just shouting out that I was Christian and rebuking my parents of the false teachings of Catholicism. I still have many doubts of Catholicism because I have heard that the Catholic Church is the church that Jesus had found. I still keep in faith that I am Christian.

Later though, I was suppose to attend a hang out during 6PM. Sadly, Filipino time made me miss it. I complained about missing it, and later on the way home, regretted ever complaining and should have been happy to be with my family.
