PINE CHILLS DOS

Kristine picks me up from school and we go to Chick-Fil-A. Eat, grab a load of mints, and talk about Quest Crew's amazing dancing and personality for about an hour ! Then, we walk around, sit, talk some more, and try to find out what to do.

We remembered the horse trail from last year, March 28 2008. We decided to go there, with our slippers and sandals just to be spontaneous. Hiking up and going through a different path than last time. We saw a rabbit, what we thought was a wolf. I praise God for the beauty of nature. Seeing how He made this. He made everything so complex. He made plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen, while we take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. That realization makes me love Him so much for the things we have in life in order to survive.

Then, we were taking pictures with my phone. Kristine was posing, and then all of a sudden, she feels this rock that hits her, but it wasn't a rock. So she gets paranoid and starts running towards me yelling if there's something on her back, while she's shaking her whole body. I start screaming as well and we uncontrolably run down the hill. She consistently asks if there was something on her back, I was laughing and scared at the same time I couldn't speak. Then, I yell "it fell off" and a huge gunk of spit flies. Both of us drooling and we didn't even know what it was; I just knew it was black. We are laughing for 10minutes straight and start squatting down cause we needed to pee. Then, I just saw how we just kept laughing, and anyone can come at any moment and see us laughing, awkward! We walked back to the village, and get picked up by Kuya Mike!

No one was at church, so we drive around and ended up going to Downtown Covina. Park and walk around. We check out the vintage boutique, the record store, and a book store. Back to CFBC, and now people are there. Laura comes!

Our body is a tool, an instrument. We should use it in obedience to God.

LOST

In place of bible study, we took a trip to Calvary Chapel to see an apologist (defense of faith). I liked it; he had really good funny stories. Although, he did use some big words I couldn't understand. I liked the anology of the sun: God is like the sun, you cant look at it, but without it, you cant see. So many other things jumbled up in my mind!

After, it was Andrew & Ben Ho, with John Santos and me in the car. Driving back to go to innout, talking away of the lecture. When suddenly Ben goes "Uhh, I dont know where were going". The signs said Long Beach. To make it even better, The gas light when on; we needed gas! Andrew says, "We need to exit quick." Okay, so we exit and we make a left and keep driving for 10minutes on a road with nothing but industrial factories. We found a gas station, but it was diesel. We turned around! And we were like :O because we just wasted gas! Got onto the freeway again, and drove till we saw a 76. Once we got there. We all went out to stretch, and the gas mart seemed to be closed. John saw an abandoned car with all the doors open.. I started getting scared. I felt like I was in a movie or something. A man appeared at the mart, and we asked for the directions, and we found out the right way to go, was just in front of our faces. Stopped by Jack in the Box, and next thing you know, I'm home.

From Bus to Bus

Kathleen doesn’t want to take a long detour to go to Margiel’s house so she goes to my house. I get there and see her scooter parked outside my door. We plan on going to Mikee’s Surprise Birthday Party. My dad said that he was busy so we walked to the bus stop.

I saw the bus and we ran for our lives. We got off that bus. Kathleen wanted Jack In The Box but we saw the bus coming again so we ran again. Kathleen pulled the rope too early so we had to walk. Then we started walking uphill. If it wasn’t for Ashley to see me I would have walked all the way around, so we walked up the hill and jumped over her fence to get to the backyard.

They were decorating the place. She gave us water and I chugged it down and I didn’t even need to pee because I sweat all the water out. Melissa came and more people. Later, Mikee came and her friends blindfolded her and they put whipped cream all over her too. It was sort of boring. It was fun watching Kathleen dance. I was trying to figure out the Rubik’s cube. I’m almost there!

Bonfire

Got there, and her house looks really, fine. Her backyard is the biggest thing in the world. First, there’s only the cement and grass part with the pool. Then, there’s the other backyard behind the gate with all these fruits and weeds.

I sat at the bench beside the pool and started catching up with Gail. I wanted to play with the basketball that was in the pool, but Gail and Kristen kept pushing it away. Then, people wanted apples so we went to her other backyard and went on adventure searching through the little forest of fruits. I got a pear! Then we went on a small wooden bridge to take pictures.

Then, we sat by the pool until the food came. We ate Pizza Hut pizza and bread sticks. Then, we went by the bonfire pit and lit the wood. The fire was going out so some people collected twigs. Then, we roasted marshmallows and smores. Justine told funny stories and used her drum!
